The 4th edition of the Sirikwa Classic World Cross Country Tour, a World Athletics Gold-level event, will bring together elite athletes and passionate runners for an unforgettable international cross-country experience rooted in Kenya’s rich athletics legacy. With public registrations now open while slots last and the spotlight on an exclusive elite-only 2km race, the Sirikwa Classic will offer a rare opportunity for grassroots and world-class athletes to share one prestigious global stage.



Expected Athletes
Sirikwa Classic World Cross Country Tour is set to host top-performing athletes. Countries are expected to send their top cross-country runners to battle for glory on 14th February 2026, at Lobo Village Kapseret in Eldoret. Local and international visitors and athletics enthusiasts are all welcome.

Rooted in the story of King Sengwer and his sons, Sirikwa and Mitia, the event honors the enduring Kalenjin culture and history that still shapes the region today. Taking place at Lobo Village, Eldoret on 14th February 2026, the Sirikwa Classic blends athletics, culture, and history into an unforgettable cross-country experience in the heart of the Rift Valley.
